Celebrating 75!

Celebrating 75!

Published Mar 23, 2017 | Development

The year 2017 marks the 75th Anniversary of the founding of Hiawatha Land Independent Baptist Missions, now Continental Baptist Missions. What began as one man's burden to tell of the great need of missionaries serving in the remote Upper Peninsula of Michigan now crisscrosses the continental United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico. Missionaries serving under the CBM banner are planting, revitalizing, and building churches with the same passion and dedication as those missionary pioneers to whom Arthur Glen ministered in his day.

At CBM, we count it a privilege to provide administrative and support services for missionary Church Planters and Church Builders called of God and commissioned by the local church. CBM does not send missionaries—rather, we are engaged in local church partnership which complements the work of church planting. As we celebrate 75 years of God's faithfulness to this ministry, we invite your participation in the continued work of re-churching North America. In the words of missionary hymn writer, Frank Houghton, we face a task unfinished.

Will you pray? Will you give? Will you go?

CBM stands at the ready to assist!
