Joshua Putnam is no stranger to Continental Baptist Missions, having grown up as a CBMK—a “missionary kid”, the son of missionary builders, Dallas and Nancy Putnam. As a young adult, Joshua served in several CBM mission churches before eventually becoming the chairman of the CBM board of directors. From 2022-2025, Joshua served as part of a three-man leadership team overseeing the work of CBM, while at the same time serving as senior pastor of First Baptist Church of Howard City, Michigan. In October 2025, he accepted an appointment to serve as CBM's Executive Director, providing vision and leadership for the work of church planting, revitalization, and building in North America. Joshua and his wife, Amy, are blessed with three children: Alyvia, Bennson, and Amyah.
